My iPod finally has a real friend

Oh Yes...

Check out Apple's front page - nice to see they don't take themselves too seriously :-)

(Full writeup when I've d/l and played with it...)

I know I said bad things about being smug before, but I think it's okay if it's directed at Microsoft. Makes you proud to be a Mac user. (oh God I sound like I write for MacUser or something . . . help . . . find English students . . .)

You read MacUser? I think you're a geek Sarah. ITs a good job we're separated by a couple of largeish seas and two scandinavian countires, I probably wouldn't have had the guts to put foward that sentiment if we were present in the same room.

iTunes for windows looks very nice, but it has a very stupid bug. When you start it up the first time it asks you if you want it to "manage" (rename and move) your music collection, and it does it whether you click "yes" or "no". Pretty dumb.

Incidentally, isn't movable type really good Dave? I have all of the writing on my pages done through it and it makes it much better.

Yes, movable type is very nice, but I never got the bug you talked about on Win iTunes - strange...

I'd be more concerned about the bug that renders your machine unbootable...

However I've not got Win2K, so I'm ok :-)
